The GSP Technical Limits dataset provides a view of the current technical power limits for the National Grid Electricity Distribution GSPs. This is aligned with Appendix G, so when these datasets are combined, it should provide a comprehensive view of capacity headroom at all our license area Grid Supply Points.

Both export and import limits are provided where available. A single export limit is provided, taken from the period of most onerous export conditions in the year. Three import limits are provided to cover different periods of the year: Winter, Access Period and Summer.

Note: These technical limits are under development, and are pending review and agreement. Therefore, these values may change over time.
