From July 2020, the System Wide Resource Register has been renamed as the Embedded Capacity Register (ECR) in line with the DCUSA change DCP 350. The ECR provides information to electricity network stakeholders on generation and storage resources (≥50kW) that are connected, or accepted to connect, to National Grid’s distribution network and is updated on a monthly basis.

This resource register is National Grid Electricity Distribution’s contribution to the Embedded Capacity Register (ECR) which has been developed through an ENA Open Network project. The information contained here will be updated monthly. Whilst we use reasonable endeavors to ensure that the data contained within resource register is accurate, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for, the accuracy or the completeness of the content or any loss which may arise from reliance on the resource register and related information.
